Dave Sharapan was not just the co-founder and original co-host of The Bostonian vs. The Book -- he was the heart of the show. A legendary figure in the sports-betting world, Dave brought decades of oddsmaking experience from Las Vegas and beyond, unmatched insight, and a personality that made everyone feel like part of the conversation.
Dave passed away in September of 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire and shape BVB every day. His humor, honesty, and love for the sports-betting community built the foundation for what the show is today.
While Dave is no longer with us, he will always be a part of The Bostonian vs. The Book -- in spirit, in story, and in the passion that drives every episode.
